1. Council of Architecture (COA)

The COA Office is located in India Habitat Centre, Delhi.

The Council of Architecture in India is charged with the responsibility to regulate the education and practice of Architecture and its professionals throughout the country besides maintaining the register of architects. The Council of Architecture (COA) was constituted by the Government of India under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972, enacted by the Parliament of India, which came into force on 1st September 1972. The Act provides for the registration of Architects, standards of education, recognized qualifications, and standards of practice to be complied with by the practicing architects.

2. Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID)

The Institute of Indian Interior Designers, also known as I.I.I.D, was founded in 1972 to establish good professional & trade practices and ethics amongst its members and to highlight and enhance the image of the Interior Design Profession and exchange know‐how with similar organizations within the country & abroad. IIID has become a true representative of the Interior Design fraternity within the country as well as globally, with over 8000 members in 31 centers all over India.

4. Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI)

The Fashion Design Council of India is a not-for-profit organization that works to further the business of fashion in India and ensure its sustainable growth. It promotes and nurtures its over 400 members, who represent the best in Indian fashion. These members include fashion and accessory designers and professionals, educational institutions, and corporates.

5. Institute of Urban Designers India (IUDI)

Institute of Urban Designers India (IUDI) is a national-level association of urban design professionals, academicians, and practitioners that came into being due to the present scenario of unprecedented growth and change across all levels of urban settlements, especially in our part of the world. 6. Institute of Town Planners India (ITPI)

The Institute of Town Planners, India, started as a small group of Town Planners in Delhi, who in 1947 decided to set up a professional Town Planning Institute on lines similar to the Royal Town Planning Institute, London. The aim of ITPI is to promote dynamic, inclusive, and integrated Town and Country planning practice, education, research, and institutional mechanism for vibrant, sustainable, and resilient spatial-economic development of towns, cities, and regions.

7. India Design Council (IDC)

India Design Council is an autonomous body of Government of India established under the aegis of Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. It is a national strategic body for multi-disciplinary design and is involved in promotion of design to ultimately make India a design-enabled country. The India Design Council is spearheading the national design direction and is working with other government agencies, the design community, industry and education institutions to promote design in business, society and public services and developing design excellence.
