Create a whole sheet set in one pass instead of one sheet at a time.
Setting up sheets in a new Revit model means the same New Sheet dialog over and over. This pyRevit tool lets you pick a title block once, build a list of every sheet number and name, and create the lot in a single transaction, with optional organizational parameters and reusable presets.
What's inside
- One pyRevit button: Add Sheets
- A list builder for sheet number and name pairs, with duplicate-number protection
- A title block picker that lists and activates every title block family in the project
- Four optional organizational fields (Discipline, Area, View Group, View Type) written to matching sheet parameters when present
- Named presets to save and reload your common sheet setups
Who this is for
- BIM professionals standing up sheets on a new project model
- BIM managers who want a consistent, repeatable sheet-creation step across a team
- Revit users transitioning into BIM who want a guided batch tool instead of the one-at-a-time New Sheet dialog
Requirements
- Autodesk Revit 2021 or newer
- pyRevit installed (free, from pyrevitlabs.io)
- At least one title block family loaded in the project
- Runs in a single, undoable Revit transaction. The organizational fields use the BK_ORGA_* parameter names and are skipped if those parameters are not present
What you'll get faster
